Milan making serious contact to land another super star

AC Milan is reportedly making moves to secure the services of Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic, with the intention of bringing him to the club in the summer. According to Sport Mediaset’s Claudio Raimondi via Milan News, the Rossoneri are actively pursuing Samardzic and have initiated the process early.

The 21-year-old Serbian midfielder is considered one of the top young talents in Serie A, and he appears poised to depart Udinese in the summer for a new and more challenging opportunity. While Milan doesn’t have an immediate need for a midfielder in the January transfer window, their focus remains on acquiring a central defender.

Samardzic has put in an impressive performance in Serie A this season, contributing three goals and two assists from midfield. His recent goal in Milan’s 3-2 victory over Udinese has reportedly caught the attention of key figures at Milan, including Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Geoffrey Moncada.

Despite the potential competition for the talented midfielder, Milan might have an opportunity, with Napoli reportedly deterred by the potential price, and Atalanta concentrating on securing Charles De Ketelaere on a permanent basis from Milan.

It appears that Juventus has shifted its focus to Teun Koopmeiners and Ederson from Atalanta, leaving Inter and Milan as potential contenders in the pursuit of Lazar Samardzic. The competition for Samardzic’s signature may narrow down to the two Milanese clubs, Inter and AC Milan.
