Since taking over at Villa Park in October 2022, Unai Emery has done nothing short of miraculous, as his team is presently fourth in the Premier League standings.

Kosta Nedeljkovic, a right-back from Serbia, was already added to Aston Villa this month, but more signings may be made if the perfect opportunity presents itself.

As previously mentioned, Rogers, who has been playing well for Middlesbrough this season, is one player they have been attempting to sign.

The 21-year-old, who can play as a center-forward or as a winger on either side, has two goals this season in the

Championship. Additionally, Morgan has scored five goals in the Carabao Cup, currently leading the competition in scoring.

The young player could end up being a great long-term investment for Aston Villa because he is only likely to get better with experience.

Aston Villa submit new improved offer for Rogers

Reputable transfer reporter David Ornstein reports that Aston Villa has made Morgan a new offer in an effort to entice him away from Riverside Stadium.

Ornstein said on X, “Aston Villa submits an improved third offer to Middlesbrough for Morgan Rogers.”

Their most recent plan, including add-ons, is valued at almost £15 million. There is currently no deal with ‘Boro, but talks are still going on. Villa hopes to finalize the agreement by the beginning of next week.

Although Ollie Watkins, Moussa Diaby, and Leon Bailey have been Aston Villa’s primary striker options this season, Emery is obviously eager to add more competition.

It makes sense that Middlesbrough would be hesitant to split company with Morgan while they still have a chance to qualify for the playoffs.

They might, however, find it challenging to reject Aston Villa’s most recent offer of £15 million for the attacker.
