Brentford ready to go ‘as high as €18m’ to sign prolific playmaker

According to sources from Italy, Brentford is attempting to recruit Valentin Carboni from Inter Milan.

According to FC Inter News, a number of teams have ‘stepped forward’ for the player’s move in recent days, indicating a major battle ahead for him.

Among them are Brentford, Fiorentina, and another English team; nonetheless, they are all having difficulty meeting Inter Milan’s demands for their prices.

Carboni is reportedly valued at €25 million by the Nerazzurri, and none of those teams have “come close” to meeting their demands.
Brentford’s offer is reportedly “as high as €18m,” which is more than its Premier League rival West Ham, who is now locked at €15m. Despite this, Brentford should still fall short of Inter’s demands.

Alessandro Moggi, Carboni’s new agent, brought such approaches when he visited the Nerazzurri headquarters to discuss the increased interest.

However, as long as none of those teams make a better offer, the Serie A powerhouses will not lose their cool.

Currently on loan at Monza, Carboni has made two goals and three assists thus far this year.
