The 36-year-old will conclude an incredible four and a half years of service, during which he played a part in Coventry’s play-off campaign that resulted in the championship game at Wembley Stadium and helped the team win promotion from League One as champions.

Following Coventry’s 2-2 draw with Bristol City at the CBS Arena on Tuesday night, the team’s manager, Mark Robins, announced that there will be departures.

“I believe that at least one is leaving. He stated, “There could be three outs, or there could be two outs.” When asked if they were senior players, he responded, “I’ll let you know.” There will undoubtedly be some moving out, but I believe that we really ought to strive to keep everyone together if we can.

In response to the question of whether McFadzean, midfielder Liam Kelly, and third-choice goalkeeper Simon Moore—all of whom were left out of the Bristol matchday squad—fit into the group of experienced players who may be surplus, Robins said, “We’ll have to wait and see.” We’re currently at the status quo, but I’ll let you know if anything changes with anybody.
