BREAKING NEWS: Aston Villa agree deal to sign highly rated play-maker

Journalist Jacob Tanswell reports that Aston Villa and West Brom player Keilan Quinn have reached an agreement.

The “highly rated” young player from the Baggies has now agreed to a deal with the Villans, who will likely be busy in the last phases of the transfer window.

The Athletic claims that Villa is paying the teenage midfielder close to £1 million for him.

Although the 16-year-old will be joining Villa’s under-16 team, Villa has great expectations for him. Quinn has shown promise for West Brom’s youth team. In 10 games this season, he has one goal and one assist for the under-18 team.

“Aston Villa and West Brom have reached an agreement to recruit 16-year-old midfielder Keilan Quinn. The goal of the midfielder joining Villa’s academy is to get to the scholarship stage the following season. Pay about £1 million,” Tanswell penned on X.

Before the 11 p.m. deadline, Villa is likely to have completed at least two deals.

Morgan Rogers will finalize his transfer from Middlesbrough for an initial payment of £8 million, per a report from Sky Sports. Despite having three bids rejected for the player, Villa was nevertheless able to sign him.

Joe Gauci is another player who is anticipated to join today. The goalkeeper for Adelaide United is anticipated to finalize his transfer today, having previously finished his physical in Qatar.

Jhon Duran, a striker who was wanted by several teams, including Chelsea, is anticipated to remain with the team.
