Breaking News: Most wanted Europe star is closing in on move to Ipswich Town

Transfer news: Kieffer Moore is closing in on an Ipswich Town move, which hurts Cardiff City.

Kieffer Moore to Sunderland latest with striker expected in Bournemouth squad vs West Ham

Kieffer Moore, a striker for Wales, is not going to return to Cardiff City.

The towering forward has been a target for City for a while, and when Moore was having trouble getting regular playing time at Premier League team Bournemouth, there was some hope that a deal could be struck.

With Leeds United and Sunderland among the other suitors circling, the Cherries cleared their exit after capturing Enes Unal from Getafe.

TalkSPORT and Sky Sports have reported that the 31-year-old has decided to join the Tractor Boys, for whom he played for the first time back in 2017. As far as is known, the agreement is a loan through the end of the current campaign, with incentives offered in the event that Ipswich is promoted to the Premier League.

Erol Bulut, the Bluebirds manager, who has previously expressed his adoration for the attacker openly, is devastated by the news.

When asked about Moore earlier in the season, Bulut responded, “We tried to get him in.”

“It was unfixable by us. He is not just reliant on us; he plays for Bournemouth. We need to talk to them about it. I had anticipated that he would start (for Wales) against Turkey, but the national team coach made that call.

“We are putting a lot of effort towards what will occur in January. Ken Choo and our chairman. A few players are in our target. I’m hoping those three or four transactions can be completed.”

The team could yet make moves before the deadline. David Turnbull, a midfielder for Celtic, is having a physical before a possible transfer, while Ethan Horvath, a goalkeeper for Nottingham Forest, is also reportedly close to moving permanently to the city.
