Swansea City close in on winger

If Swansea can get a deal done for Placheta’s signature before the 11pm deadline, it will offer them more competition and depth out wide.

After Michael Duff left, Luke Williams was selected to lead them, and the former Notts County player is adding some personal touches to his team in an effort to move his new team up the Championship table.

Under David Wagner, Placheta has barely made three appearances for the Canaries this season and has fallen out of favor.

Since joining Carrow Road in 2020, he has made 45 appearances in all competitions and contributed two goals.

Placheta’s future is currently uncertain, despite having performed for teams like Śląsk Wrocław, Podbeskidzie, and Pogoń Siedlce in the past.

The previous game, Swansea, his prospective new team, lost 3-1 on the road against table-toppers Leicester City.
