Just In: West Ham Board to decide Moyes future at the club

It’s one thing to have Claret and Hugh email the board to discuss our feelings regarding Moyes, as do many other forum users. However, if we haven’t completely misinterpreted the case, there is a rather odd side issue to their comments and seeming willingness to give the geezer a fresh deal!

Board’s peculiar Moyes side issue

When we questioned the same people in 2023 about whether he would receive a new contract, they said, “We will take our time in making a decision because last season was awful and there is a lot of this one to go.”

All of that was perfectly acceptable and logical, but it appears that a choice is about to be made given that the season is just halfway over, the results are declining, and the Euro League last 16 games are still to be played.

The crucial query is WHY.

Alright, things could improve and we could advance to the quarterfinals and beyond in Europe. MIGHT is the key word there!

Both scenarios are possible, but it appears that the board will decide well in advance of what may be a terrible season, thwarting its initial intention to give ample time for mistakes to be made.

I don’t understand it, and I doubt they do either.
