Furthermore…

Although the Premier League is overhyped, if you measure it by goals scored, it is actually performing rather well this season.

We have already scored an incredible 729 goals this season in just 228 Premier League games.

With 1,084 goals scored in 38 Premier League games, the previous season’s record still stands.

About 1,215 goals would be scored if the current season’s pace—just over 3.19 goals per game—were to continue until the end of May 2024.
