Breaking: Coventry City boss Mark Robins nominated for top Championship award

Coventry City boss Mark Robins has earned a nomination for the Championship’s manager of the month award for January. Robins guided the Sky Blues to an unbeaten month, picking up 10 points from four matches, as City moved into the play-off places.

Coventry started the month off strong, defeating Middlesbrough 3-1 on the road. Later, in the M69 derby, they overcame league leaders and rivals Leicester City by coming from behind.

Additionally, City’s excellent start to 2024 was maintained with a 2-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday. The Sky Blues finished the month with a 2-2 home draw with Bristol City.

The other nominees for the award are Russell Martin (Southampton), Ian Foster (Plymouth Argyle), and Daniel Farke (Leeds United).
