It’s not just golf that can lure Josh Allen away from marquee NFL events.
Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, enjoys partying. A great deal of it. Whether he’s cruising down the gridiron or doing a twilight round of golf, Allen is a natural party animal. Josh Allen’s attendance history suggests that he doesn’t think the Pro Bowl is a fun event. Awaiting Pebble Beach, who could blame him?
The majority of Bills Mafia, and possibly a large portion of NFL viewers, anticipated Josh Allen and girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld to be present at Thursday’s 13th annual NFL Honors awards presentation. Then, Allen and Steinfeld did not appear during the red carpet pre-show event. Had Allen missed an NFL prime event yet again?
Why of course he did. Whatever it was, it may appear insignificant at most, because, well, it was. Possibly the finest of its kind. The intriguing finding, however, was that Allen had no intention of attending the NFL Honors ceremony, despite having some now much publicized backup plans.
Allen had reservations for dinner instead.
However, Dan “Big Cat” Katz of Barstool Sports fame contacted Allen just two hours prior to the live Sin City episode of The Dirty Dozen Trivia, asking for a favor if you will. Allen changed his reservation for supper to accommodate. You see, Big Cat needed a well-known NFL player to fill the position of fourth on his squad.
“I called Josh two hours before the show was starting,” Big Cat tweeted. To assist a friend in need, he rescheduled his meal. An iconic heroic move. man through and through, a man.
What followed was a totally arbitrary trivia night that pitted Josh Allen against Greg Olsen. This was no trivia game for the weak of heart, or those who are easily offended by words. There are twelve rounds and many categories. This is your opportunity to catch it if you missed.
