The Golden State Warriors heartbroke the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night. Golden State won 113–112 thanks to a three-pointer by Steph Curry that sealed the deal. When Curry dribbled with a second remaining, Kevin Durant responded the best.

With 3.3 seconds remaining, the ball was in the hands of the Warriors. On the far right side of the court, Bradin Podziemski delivered a bounce ball to Steph Curry that Bradley Beal almost intercepted. After gathering the ball, Curry made a three-pointer that ended the Suns’ suffering.

Though stunned by the shot, Kevin Durant could not help but smile in response to his former teammate’s clutch play.

Durant exerted almost whole effort on the floor to maintain Phoenix’s competitiveness. With 24 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks, he concluded the game. Moreover, Devin Booker flourished because of Durant’s focus.

Booker, who missed the team’s previous game against the Utah Jazz, finished with 32 points, six assists, and four rebounds. Nevertheless, it was insufficient to assist the Suns overcome the unyielding Warriors team.

Steph Curry’s game-winning three-pointer completed an already outstanding effort. The seasoned guard finished with nine rebounds, six assists, and thirty points. Jonathan Kuminga, a third-year forward, stepped up with 21 points in the interim.

With their victory, the Warriors moved back to.500, while the Suns dropped to 31–22. Phoenix held onto their Western Conference fifth-place finish. The Suns want to build momentum as the 2023–24 NBA season enters its halfway point in order to make a serious playoff run.
