Report: The 2024 Formula One Car Concept Will Be Modified by That Red Bull.

After a victorious 2023 Formula 1 season, Sergio Perez commended Red Bull’s daring for being so aggressive with its new RB20 chassis.

It appears that the team took cues from other outfits, including as Mercedes’ bodywork, which features gulleys that extend from the halo through the top of the engine cover.

Red Bull developed the RB20 to such an extent that Perez has referred to it as a new “concept” rather than just an evolutionary step, following the team’s 21 out of 22 grand prix victories in the previous year.

When asked whether he was taken aback by the new machine’s Mercedes-like design, Perez replied, “Ah, sure. A small amount. However, it also demonstrates the team’s unwavering will to advance and push the envelope. It’s truly amazing to witness.

It just serves to highlight this team’s hunger. I think it’s extremely daring of Red Bull to do that because, you know, we had such a dominant vehicle last year that you wouldn’t picture us changing the concept as much.

Even while the RB19 from the previous year was effective overall, Perez mentioned that one key area had improved. “Essentially our low-speed seems to be looking in a better window, but obviously until we hit the track we will not know” , he stated.

With a 290-point disadvantage to teammate Max Verstappen and no wins in the final eighteen races of the previous season, the Mexican is well aware that he will need to improve his performance in order to maintain Red Bull’s faith starting in 2025.

He clarified the difficulties from the previous year, saying, “We had some issues as the car was developing”.

“And by attempting to fix those problems, we were only degrading the car’s performance rather than making it drive faster. Enhancing its comfort level does not always translate into speed.”
