Tennessee Volunteers have contacted former Michigan Wolverines defensive back Keon Sabb, who has accessed the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Keon Sabb, a defensive back for Michigan, led the Wolverines to their first national championship since 1997 with a successful season. In his redshirt freshman season, Sabb recorded 28 tackles, four pass deflections, and two interceptions. Sabb belonged to the recruiting class of 2022. In his recruiting cycle, he was rated by 247Sports’ Composite Rankings as the No. 96 talent. Sabb visited Clemson, Georgia, Michigan, Penn State, Texas A&M, and held offers from 34 programs. The Vols, led by head coach Jeremy Pruitt, extended an offer to Sabb.

Since logging into the transfer portal, eighteen schools—including Tennessee—have gotten in touch with Sabb. There will be fierce rivalry because there are numerous national powers on the list. Sabb is the kind of elite-level defender that Tennessee always seeks to add to its secondary. He checks in at No. 57 overall this cycle and is ranked as the No. 2 available prospect in the transfer portal. Sabb still has three seasons left to be eligible.
