The midfielder is “very close” to making a comeback to action, according to Gunners manager Mikel Arteta’s Friday morning statement.

During his pre-match press conference, Arteta stated that Arsenal would have to precisely plan when to have him back.

He did, however, appear upbeat about Partey’s health, told football. London: “Perhaps we should see. This Friday, we have another session.

He hasn’t been seen in many, many months. When he has enough left in the tank to compete, we really need to nail the time. But I believe they are pretty near.

Thomas Partey, an Arsenal midfielder, is getting closer to his much-anticipated comeback to play.

Partey had surgery to address a significant thigh issue that had kept him from playing for the Gunners for more than four months.

Since October 8th, the 30-year-old has not been on the Arsenal field. His final match for Ghana took place on October 18. This season, he has only made five appearances for Arteta’s team.

Partey had hoped to get back into action at the beginning of February, but he regrettably encountered a problem “in a very similar area” that has forced him to sit out extra time.

But now that everything appears to be moving in the right direction, perhaps we won’t have to wait long to see him in action. Maybe even this Saturday.

Partey did not travel with the team, although he did practice with the first team prior to Wednesday’s Champions League first-leg loss at Porto.

Now that he has completed more training, the much-anticipated return of the “fantastic” midfield player is almost certain.
