Luke Shaw is expected to miss further time due to injury, leaving Erik ten Hag’s team once again dealing with a left-back issue.

This week, United issued a statement indicating that they expected him to be out for “a few months.” Reports have indicated that he is unlikely to play again this season, which casts doubt on his ability to play for England in the 2024 European Championship.

The 16-year-old sensation Amass has been really excited to play for United, as their 16-year-old star is still recovering from a long-term knee injury.

The left-back has been practicing with the first team since the beginning of the year, and this week, in front of Fulham’s visit, he is back with the senior group.

But, Amass was essentially ruled out of playing against the Cottagers later in the day after being named in the starting lineup for United’s Under-18 team’s early Saturday afternoon matchup against Middlesbrough.

In United’s last two games, Victor Lindelof has replaced Sofyan Amrabat at left defense, a position that Amrabat had held earlier in the season.

After moving from Feyenoord to Manchester in 2022, Malacia was one of ten Hag’s first acquisitions. She hasn’t played since May of the previous year.

Although the Netherlands international had knee surgery, his absence has left fans perplexed and frustrated.
