The NFL revealed last week that the 2024 salary cap—the amount of money that each team is allowed to spend on players for the next season—will grow significantly. The Houston Texans now own the largest amount of free cap space available, surpassing even their previous record.
Over the weekend, @TexansCap, one of the media’s foremost experts on all things related to the Houston Texans salary cap, released his most recent data analysis. Even though he acknowledges that there are still some puzzle pieces missing, this gives the Texans a reasonably clear picture of what they will face in 2024.
