Done Deal: Cleveland Brown Has Confirmed The Signing of Another Experienced Star in The 2024 NFL Draft.

NFL Combine: Browns’ official meeting with OLman may indicate future plans

Joel Bitonio’s success is limited, and Wyatt Teller is only a few years behind him.

The NFL Combine is helpful for several things, such as team interviews, medical exams, and verification of what the player’s footage says about themselves, since it has been repeatedly shared with you. Asking prospects just whether they have met with a certain team is one of the forbidden things about being a member of the media at the Combine.

The majority of the prospects on the boards of the Cleveland Browns and other NFL teams will be met with, and they may even have the opportunity to draft. For example, it is improbable that the Browns will ask for or receive meetings with the top quarterbacks in the 2024 NFL Draft.

NFL Combine: Browns formal meeting with OL Javion Cohen could be sign of plans for future - Dawgs By Nature

Even though they are slightly more significant to notice, formal interviews don’t usually reveal a lot.

For ten years, the Browns have been spoilt by the play of offensive lineman Joel Bitonio. A few years later, offensive lineman Wyatt Teller joined him. Regretfully, NFL players’ bodies deteriorate over time. For the first time since 2016, Bitonio missed games in 2023.

The 33-year-old is scheduled to become a free agent after the 2025 campaign; however, if he is cut after this one, Cleveland may save about $10 million. Teller, 30, will play for the team for a further two seasons.

That is the most intriguing aspect of the Cohen visit. Cohen is probably going to be selected no later than the fourth round this year due to the rising value of offensive linemen and the guard group’s somewhat shallow depth.

Cohen might be available in the third round for Cleveland, who do not have a pick in the fourth round. GM Andrew Berry may once again concentrate on developing for the future while the public and media pay attention to the team’s urgent needs at receiver and on the defensive line. We seen a lot of this in his choices last year.

Although it would obviously be about the future, using a third-round pick on Cohen would make more sense if Berry is able to solve certain needs in free agency.
