Saturday night’s game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets ended in a manner reminiscent of their previous encounters.
The Lakers have now lost to the Nuggets eight times in a row, and in nearly all of those games, the two teams were tied heading into the closing minutes. From then on, the Nuggets took control and used outstanding offensive play to win the games while the Lakers faltered in crucial situations on both sides of the court.
Following the team’s most recent defeat to the Nuggets, Anthony Davis talked about what went wrong in the last moments and why Denver is such a difficult team to stop.
