Jacksonville Jaguars Coach Sign His Departure To His

The Jacksonville Jaguars defense, which finished 2023 with 17th in points, 22nd in yards, and 26th in passing, is searching for improved players in the summer.

Jacksonville has to free up $29.2 million in cap space in order to sign players in the free agent market.

Jenkins signed a 4-year, $35 million contract during the 2021 offseason.

Jenkins appeared in 14 games in 2021, recording 73 tackles and three pass deflections, and allowed 28 receptions on 45 targets for 384 yards, one touchdown, and a 96.9 passer rating. He missed the last three games because of a broken ankle.

Jenkins appeared in every game in 2022, recording 116 tackles, three interceptions, one pick-six, 12 pass deflections, and three forced fumbles, and allowed 39 receptions on 55 targets for 450 yards, one touchdown, and a 78.6 passer rating. He also had 14 tackles and one pass deflection in two playoff games.

Jenkins appeared in every game in 2023, recording 101 tackles, two interceptions, and nine pass deflections, and allowed 33 receptions on 61 targets for 425 yards and a 62.5 passer rating.
