In a recent 2024 NBA mock draft, Zaccharie Risacher was selected by the Detroit Pistons.
The Detroit Pistons, who have one of the poorest records in the NBA, will probably pick first in the 2024 NBA draft. They’ve chosen a promising young foreign prospect in recent mock drafts.
In the previous mock drafts, the Pistons selected first; however, in the most recent edition of Bleacher Report, that is not the case. They are now at number two, having chosen Frenchman Zaccharie Risacher.
Despite being one of the younger players in this class, Risacher already possesses a body fit for the NBA. At the moment, he weighs 204 pounds and is 6-foot-8.
Risacher is now playing abroad for JL Bourg-en-Bresse. He recorded averages of 13.1 PPG, 3.6 RPG, and 1.1 APG in the EuroCup earlier this season. He also had a very good deep ball game, making 56.1% of his attempts.
One of the key things about Risacher that has stuck out is his ability to shoot outside. Over his international career, he has shot slightly under 43% from beyond the arc. Michael Porter Jr. of the Denver Nuggets is his current NBA player comp.
The Pistons could do better at perimeter shooting given the present composition of their team. This season, they rank 27th in terms of three-point attempts made per game and 22nd in terms of percentage (35.8%).
