Will Ravens’ Kyle Hamilton return to matchup with the 49ers after injury
During the Baltimore Ravens’ game against the San Francisco 49ers, Kyle Hamilton left the match due to a knee injury. The injury occurred when he tackled Brandon Aiyuk during a 22-yard reception in the fourth quarter.
Hamilton’s return is uncertain as the Ravens designate him doubtful due to a knee injury. Despite an impressive performance against the 49ers with five total tackles and two interceptions, he faces uncertainty after recently recovering from a reported sprained MCL during a home game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Hamilton has accumulated 81 total tackles and secured four interceptions across 15 games this season.
In a recent update, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh minimized the seriousness of Hamilton’s injury post-game, stating, “It doesn’t look bad for anybody. We will assess it tomorrow to confirm. We’re fairly optimistic about everybody.”
Hamilton has become a standout player for the Ravens’ defense. His versatility is a crucial factor in the team’s success, excelling in coverage, open-field tackles, run defense, and quarterback intimidation during blitzes.
Two Ravens offensive linemen grappled with injuries, and the situation worsened against the 49ers.
Ronnie Stanley and Morgan Moses, both tackles, persevered through lingering injuries, earning snaps off in recent games.
On Monday night, right guard Kevin Zeitler and Patrick Mekari, who usually steps in at tackle, exited the game. Zeitler endured a thigh injury, with Ben Cleveland stepping in for him, while Mekari is under evaluation for a head injury.
