Detroit Lions sign long snapper to new deal

ALLEN PARK — The Detroit Lions will officially employ a long snapper this season, inking Scott Daly to a one-year deal.

Daly earned the job by beating out the legendary Don Muhlbach during training camp in 2021, but suffered a knee injury that limited him to eight games last season. He was replaced by Jake McQuaide, who remains unsigned.
