Jeanie Marie Buss The owner of the Los Angeles Lakers has announced the departure of head coach Darvin Ham.
Darvin Ham has stated that he is not concerned about his future with the Los Angeles Lakers because he has full support from owner Jeanie Buss.
The Lakers finally broke their losing streak after defeating their LA rivals, the Clippers, 106-103, last time out.
However, speculation regarding his future has continued following a run of three consecutive defeats, leaving the Purple and Gold 18-19 on the season and ranked 10th in the Western Conference.
The coach, 50, was forced to brush off queries about his status before the game and opened up about his meetings with Lakers president Buss, 62.
“I told you, guy, I’m just grateful that I have Jeanie’s support, with her continuously encouraging me and asking, ‘What do I need? “Is everything fine?” Ham asked.
However, Reddit users were not convinced, discussing how Buss’ tolerance will eventually wear thin.
In a post about his future, one fan said, “She’s going to knife him,” while another stated Buss and Ham were the “worst coach and owner in the league.”
