Breaking News: The Chicago Bears have agreed to trade a prominent veteran star to the Buffalo Bills.

Ryan Bates, an offensive tackle for Buffalo, is coming to the Chicago Bears, subject to a physical.

A week remains until the NFL’s new league year begins, but Ryan Poles has already taken a step to potentially improve his 7-meter Ryan Bates, an offensive tackle, will be acquired by the Chicago Bears in exchange for a fifth-round pick in 2024, the teams announced on Monday.

The 27-year-old Bates played in 73 games and started 19 of them during his five seasons in the NFL, all with the Buffalo Bills. The Bears signed Bates to an offer sheet for a four-year contract in 2022, but Buffalo matched and retained him for the 2022 and 2023 campaigns.
