The famous radio broadcaster John Sterling’s retirement ceremony took place on Saturday afternoon at Yankee Stadium, and the game ended in a shutout loss to the Tampa Bay Rays (TB 2, NY 0 in 10 innings). It was New York’s fifth consecutive game being held to three runs or fewer in the previous ten. Despite losing four of their past six games, the Yankees are still atop the AL East at 14-7.
