Form for the New Orleans Pelicans
After falling behind 3-0 in the series over the weekend, New Orleans now faces a “win or bust” scenario the remainder of the way.
With a 49-33 record at the end of the regular season, the Pelicans needed to win the Play-In Tournament in order to guarantee a postseason berth.
They then defeated Sacramento 105-98 in their second Play-In game to avenge their 110-106 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.
In the first road game, New Orleans came dangerously close to backing that up with an unexpected victory, but they were defeated 94-92 at Oklahoma City.
The Pelicans lost 124-92 to the Thunder in their second meeting, and they were defeated 106-85 in Game 3 despite having home court advantage.
