Good news for the Alabama Crimson Tide football program began Monday morning as the squad added another gifted player via the transfer portal. Kameron Howard, a former safety for the Charlotte 49ers, announced his intention to transfer to Alabama on social media on Monday morning.
In the Class of 2023, Howard was an unranked prospect coming out of Fort Washington, Maryland’s Saint Frances Academy. As a true freshman in 2023, he participated in all 12 games for Charlotte, starting two of them. Last year, he recorded 38 tackles, two interceptions, and one pass breakup.
