The 24-year-old “fantastic” McNeil, as described by journalist Zach Lowy, has seen an increase in his market value less than two years after moving to Merseyside. According to Football Transfers, his current valuation is £31 million.
In addition to being £11 million more than the club paid for him, his figure is also twice as high as that of Amadou Onana, who signed with the team in the same summer as McNeil for a reported fee of about £33 million.
After failing to really take off over the last two years or so, the young Belgian is now only worth £15 million, while McNeil has cemented himself as a vital member of the Goodison team.
