Game 6 was tense for Toronto Maple Leafs fans. They played strong defense once more to tie the Boston Bruins in their first-round series three games to three. In another exciting game at Scotiabank Arena, the Maple Leafs defeated the Bruins by a slim margin of 2-1.
The series is currently heading toward a decisive seventh game that will be played away from home. The Maple Leafs played a closer game and pulled together when it mattered, despite being without star player Auston Matthews. William Nylander’s two goals accounted for all of the points; Joseph Woll played a strong goalkeeping role save for an extra-man goal with less than a second remaining in regulation time.
