Kalen DeBoer is taking over for Nick Saban as the head football coach of Alabama after leading Washington to a Pac-12 championship and an appearance in the national championship game. In addition to serving as head coach at Sioux Falls and Fresno State, DeBoer led Indiana’s offensive coordinator team during the Hoosiers’ 8-5 season in 2019 under quarterback Michael Penix Jr.
