Sean McDermott was hired head coach of the Buffalo Bills on January 11, 2017.
With five playoff appearances in his first six seasons, he gradually changed the culture of a franchise that hadn’t been to the playoffs since 1999.
McDermott has the highest victory % in team history and the third most wins in franchise history, trailing only Marv Levy (123) and Lou Saban (70). From 2020 to 2022, the Bills won three straight AFC East division titles for the first time since 1988-91.
