SO SAD: Steelers Key player died in the fire-affected home together with his family.

Acrisure Stadium will host the Steelers’ Christmas game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Depending on your point of view, the Pittsburgh Steelers received a lump of coal from the NFL this season, or a Christmas present.

The two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs will be the Steelers’ opponent on Christmas Day in 2024, for the third time in franchise history.

The Steelers announced the game at Acrisure Stadium on December 25 against the Chiefs, despite the fact that the NFL schedule will not be made public until 8 p.m. The game is set to begin at 1 p.m. and will be broadcast on Netflix, a streaming service.

Despite Christmas falling on a Wednesday this year, the NFL decided to schedule two games for the holiday during its annual meeting in March. In other words, the Steelers will play on Saturday, December 21, last week, and will have three days off before playing the Chiefs in Week 17.

In 2016, the Steelers won their first Christmas game at Acrisure Stadium thanks to a last-second touchdown reception by Antonio Brown against the Baltimore Ravens. The following season, the Steelers defeated the Texans on Christmas after traveling to Houston.

One of the most anticipated home games is the matchup with the Chiefs. Tickets holders who expected the game to be played on a typical Sunday afternoon or evening may be upset that it is scheduled for the Christmas holiday.

In three career meetings, the Steelers have never beaten Patrick Mahomes, the star quarterback for the Chiefs.
