In 2024 NRL Signings news, David Fifita, the Queensland Origin player, has decided to stick with the Titans, extending his stay with the club for the 2025 and 2026 seasons by taking up his player option.
Initially, there was talk of him joining the Roosters from 2025 onwards, but despite initial intentions and discussions with the Roosters, Fifita expressed uncertainty about the move.
Consequently, the Roosters withdrew their offer to him. Fifita cited his desire to remain with the Titans, emphasizing his excitement about the team’s direction and the support of his family as factors influencing his decision.
