QB Baker Mayfield, a free agent, signed a one-year “prove it” contract with the Tampa Bay Bucs last offseason, and he certainly did.

After leading the Bucs to another division title and a playoff victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild Card round, the former Texas Tech Red Raider and Oklahoma Sooner secured a three-year, $100 million contract extension with Tampa Bay.

Additionally, has grown to be a local fan favorite, as Bucs general manager Jason Licht notes.
