Even if no one emerges as the top target, Jordan Love should have choices thanks to the Packers’ depth at receiver.

In each of the last five games of the regular season, a different player led the Packers in receiving yards. Bo Melton, Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, and tight end Tucker Kraft are the five players who are still with the team.
Christian Watson is not included in this; in his first two seasons, he has caught 12 touchdown passes while sitting out 11 games with hamstring problems.
When Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams created one of the league’s most productive tandems not too long ago, the composition of Green Bay’s receiving corps was very different.
Adams set franchise records in his last season with the Packers with 123 catches for 1,553 yards. With 52 catches and 513 receiving yards, no other Packer had more than that.
The Packers utilized the draft capital from the 2022 trade of Adams to Las Vegas and the 2023 trade of Rodgers to the New York Jets to replenish the receiver corps.
In the 2022 draft, they selected Watson in the second round, Doubs in the fourth, and Samori Toure in the seventh. A year later, they selected receiver Grant DuBose in the seventh round, tight end Tucker Kraft in the third, Wicks in the fifth, and Reed and tight end Luke Musgrave in the second round.
The Packers never had four rookies (Reed, Wicks, Musgrave, and Kraft) catch at least thirty passes before last year. In addition to New England’s 2010 pair of Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez, Musgrave and Kraft were just the second rookie tight end tandem since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger to each record at least 30 receptions, 350 yards receiving, and one touchdown reception.
This depth helps to explain why Matt LaFleur, the coach of the Packers, feels that the team doesn’t really need a standout player.
LaFleur remarked, “I feel really good about the collective unit.” “Getting the desired amount of touches from everyone is difficult, but it’s a good problem to have,” the person said. “The hardest part is that we feel so good about them.”
There are a couple No. 1 prospects for the Packers.

In addition to scoring twice on runs from scrimmage, Reed tied Doubs for the team lead with eight touchdown catches.
Ray Ramsey in 1947 and Chase Claypool in 2020 are the only other players in history to have multiple touchdown runs and eight or more touchdown catches while still rookies.

Although Watson was only able to play in nine games the previous season, he scored eight touchdowns in a stunning four-game stretch during his debut campaign. He hopes that his hamstring problems are gone.

Doubs caught 10 passes for 234 yards in the Packers’ two postseason games last season, which was 168 yards more than any of his teammates.
