This upcoming college football season will be thrilling, and there are numerous reasons to anticipate it. There will be several changes to the game, including rule changes, coaching changes, conference changes, and playoff changes. The new conferences are likely to be the most interesting aspect of the new season. The Pac-12 is gone, and the Big Ten and SEC will be stacked. They both appear to be on the verge of establishing superconferences.
The SEC will welcome Texas and Oklahoma next year, while the Big Ten will welcome a number of Pac-12 clubs, including USC, UCLA, Oregon, and Washington. Both the Big Ten and the SEC are likely to be extremely loaded next year, and it appears that additional institutions may join the leagues in the future.
Next season, the College Football Playoff will look different when it expands to 12 teams. There will also be first-round games on college campuses. More teams will have a shot at making the CFP, and there will be more games. It’s going to be enjoyable.
