One more non-conference basketball match between South Carolina and other teams.
This December, South Carolina basketball will play a road game against the TCU Horned Frogs at Fort Worth, Texas.
Dawn Staley, the basketball coach of South Carolina, may have just won her third national championship, but she isn’t sitting back to take it easy.Coach Staley is once again arranging one of the toughest slates in the nation, even though there is no reason to do so. South Carolina’s schedule includes games against the Michigan Wolverines (in Las Vegas for the season opener as part of the Hall of Fame Series), the UCLA Bruins (in Los Angeles), the Duke Blue Devils (in the ACC/SEC Challenge), and the Clemson and UConn rivals.
- The most recent revision to Columbia’s non-conference schedule was made public on Thursday. The South Carolina Gamecocks will play the TCU Horned Frogs in Fort Worth, Texas, according to a statement from the program.
The game will take place in Dickies Arena, an arena with a capacity of over 14,000 seats, instead of TCU’s usual home venue, Schollmaier Arena, due to the anticipated high level of fan interest.
The Gamecocks will square up against Hailey Van Lith one again when they play TCU. Van Lith played for the LSU Tigers past season, when they suffered two losses to Carolina.
