According to 247Sports, Vaughn, 6-2, 257, is a Composite four-star recruit who is ranked 36th nationally among all defensive line prospects for the Class of 2025. Deke Adams, the defensive line coach at Arkansas, recruited him, and four other defensive lineman have committed this cycle.

Vaughn’s offer list includes Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, Penn State, Georgia Tech, Indiana, and other schools in addition to his finalists. He has only traveled on one official visit so far, which was on the weekend of June 21 in Arkansas.

“This one raises the bar a little bit,” Vaughn remarked after the visit. “I consider coaches Adams and (Sam) Pittman to be somewhat family. There’s a lot of love in Arkansas, so I have to give it back to them since they’re always so caring toward me.

“It did benefit Arkansas in the long run. I just got the impression that there was no script and the coaches were just being who they are, and that’s what I want. I want them to be who they really are, themselves. You don’t need to adjust to suit me. Simply remain who you always are.”

Vaughn is Arkansas’s third commitment of the week; on Monday, the Razorbacks signed cornerback Nigel Pringle of Houston, Texas’ North Shore, and then they signed Shreveport, Louisiana.

Nineteen other players from Arkansas have committed to the 2025 class: three-star wide receiver Antonio Jordan, three-star quarterback Grayson Wilson of Conway, three-star athlete Quentin Murphy of Little Rock, three-star running back Markeylin Batton of Atlanta, three-star wide receiver Kamare Williams of West Palm Beach, three-star offensive lineman Lionel Prudhomme of Shrevport, Louisiana, Captain Shreve, three-star offensive lineman Connor Howes of St. Could (Fla.), three-star offensive lineman Kash Courtney of Carthage, and three-star offensive lineman Blake Cherry of Owasso, Oklahoma have committed to Arkansas.

Four-star linebacker Tavion Wallace of Jesup, Georgia, Wayne County; three-star linebacker Jayden Shelton of Dallas, Texas; three-star defensive end Keiundre Johnson of Terrell, Texas; three-star defensive tackle JaQuentin Madison of Alpharetta, Georgia; three-star defensive end Trent Sellers of Mobile, Alabama, Faith Academy; three-star defensive lineman Caleb Bell of Milton; three-star cornerback Nigel Pringle of Houston, Texas; and three-star safety Taijh Overton of Mobile, Alabama, Williamson are additional defensive commitments for the Razorbacks.
