Alexander Isak transfer unites Arsenal diehards after Piers Morgan’s clear Newcastle verdict

After Alexander Isak’s spectacular performance for Newcastle United against the Gunners, Arsenal fans are all saying the same thing.

The Swedish striker, who has scored two goals in two games against Mikel Arteta’s team this season, opened the scoring for Eddie Howe’s team in North London. He then contributed to the Magpies’ second goal, which was scored by Anthony Gordon after David Raya bundled the ball into the path of the Newcastle winger, who scored flawlessly from close range.

The 2-0 win at the Emirates Stadium has left the Toon in a strong position heading into the second leg at St. James’ Park next month, though Isak did pick up a knock during the win. Eddie Howe revealed the Newcastle striker felt something in his hamstring before being replaced around the hour mark in what was a ‘big blow’ for the Magpies head coach.

As Newcastle struggled to comply with the Premier League’s PSR regulations, Isak was linked to a move to Arsenal last summer. However, they were able to cling onto their lucky forward. With 15 goals in all competitions this season, 13 of which came in the Premier League, he has once again demonstrated why he is one of the top attackers in the world.
