BREAKING: Kentucky Football Announce The Signing of David Gusta.

The Kentucky Wildcats continue to create waves in the transfer portal, and their most recent addition is significant.

Defensive lineman David Gusta, a talented transfer from Washington State, has formally committed to the Wildcats over Texas A&M and Tennessee.

Hayes Fawcett of On3 broke the news first.

Gusta, a 6-foot-3, 302-pound trench force, adds experience and versatility to Kentucky’s defensive line. Throughout his tenure in Pullman, he shown his ability to stop the run and put inside pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

In 2024, he made 21 tackles, three pass deflections, and one sack while receiving an impressive 84.5 Pro Football Focus grade. That was the tenth-best mark in NCAA football last season among interior defensive lineman.
