FSU Football’s First Two ACC Rivals for 2025 Are Finally Revealed—And Fans Are Buzzing

In 2024, Florida State football finished with a 2–10 record. For good reason, the majority of supporters wish to forget the season ever happened. The Seminoles had a busy summer, adding numerous players to the roster through the transfer portal and recruiting levels, and replacing six of their current coaches.

Mike Norvell, the head football coach, was aware that the previous season was not typical of this illustrious program. Many people involved with the initiative are eager for 2025 to come. The ACC will broadcast the complete conference schedule on the ACC Network and ESPN2 on Monday, January 27th, from 9 to 11 p.m. EST, as I previously stated in an article.

However, before the conference reveals the free slate, they decided to release the conference opener for each team on Friday afternoon.

The Seminoles found out that their first opponent will be traveling to play Virginia on Friday, September 26. According to the image, Florida State will face Alabama, East Texas A&M, Kent State, have a bye week, and then Virginia because it is Game 4.
The program is well-positioned to get off to a quick start this year. The Miami Hurricanes, who are bitter rivals, found out that their first conference opponent would be traveling to play Florida State in Game 5 on October 4.

In their meeting with the Hurricanes last year, where Florida State appeared to be outmatched, the Seminoles will be seeking retribution. This time might be different since Carson Beck, the recently acquired QB transfer, might still be recuperating from his injury.

For the Seminoles to win, they will need to have all of their confidence and a fervent Doak Campbell Stadium to support Florida.
