UNBELIEVABLE: Commanders Coach Leaves to Take Coach Role for Top Rival Team

The Jaguars continued their search for a new offensive coordinator on Wednesday, conducting another interview for the position.

The team officially announced that they had interviewed Commanders quarterbacks coach Tavita Pritchard. Pritchard has spent the past two seasons with Washington, with his second year seeing notable improvement following the arrival of quarterback Jayden Daniels. While Jacksonville won’t be selecting a new quarterback in the draft, head coach Liam Coen and whoever takes the offensive coordinator role will be responsible for revitalizing Trevor Lawrence’s performance.

In addition to Pritchard, the Jaguars have also interviewed Rams offensive assistant and passing game specialist Nate Scheelhaase. Reports on Wednesday indicated that Jacksonville is interested in speaking with Commanders assistant quarterbacks coach David Blough.

Beyond these candidates, the team is expected to continue exploring options, potentially broadening their search to include other experienced offensive minds.
