Florida State’s 2026 recruiting class currently ranks 10th in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
The revamped coaching staff is working to forge connections with top talent for future recruiting cycles. One area of concern from the previous coaching regime was their commitment to securing local high school talent.
The Seminoles have already locked in key players like wide receivers Efrem White and Darryon Williams, offensive tackle Xavier Payne, and safeties Darryl Bell III and Tedarius Hughes.
However, Florida State is far from done adding to their 2026 class. One recruit that caught attention was four-star running back Amari Clemons from Marianna, Florida, who made his second consecutive visit to Tallahassee.
Clemons made his commitment official, a major win for the Seminoles after an impressive season where he rushed for 1,880 yards and 34 touchdowns.
Florida State has been steadily strengthening its running back depth, having already secured four-star talents like Kameron Davis and Micahi Danzy in 2024, and Ousmane Kromah in 2025.
While Davis and Kromah could play significant roles under new offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn, adding a dynamic playmaker like Clemons is still crucial. Even with a loaded running back room, the Seminoles must continue to bring in top-tier talent.
Looking ahead, Florida State’s coaching staff will continue seeking new recruits this spring, aiming to secure a full, or near-full, recruiting class for 2026.
