QUARTERBACK COMMITMENT: Virginia Tech Makes New Massive Quarterback Commitment Announcement

Peyton Falzone, a quarterback from Nazareth, Pennsylvania, committed to Virginia Tech last June, marking the first pledge for football coach Brent Pry in the Class of 2026. One of the best quarterbacks in his class, the gifted signal caller is a four-star.

Falzone reopened his recruiting by decommitting from the Hokies five months after committing to Virginia Tech. Pry suffered a significant loss, and it seems that he and the coaching staff are still in contact even after Falzone’s Tech decommitment.

Tyler Bowen visits former Hokies commit Peyton Falzone

The highly-touted player has been receiving offers from major programs ever since he de-committed from Virginia Tech, which is not surprising. Falzone posted on social media that he received a visit from Virginia Tech offensive coordinator Tyler Bowen on Tuesday, which he hopes will be a step toward obtaining another commitment from the player. He has also visited schools like Ohio State and Penn State.

Cameron Sparks, a wide receiver from Chattanooga, Tennessee, committed to the Hokies earlier this month. Even though the class and recruiting will be at their busiest this spring and summer, he is now the lone commit in the class.

In order to construct a deep quarterback room, Virginia Tech will add freshmen quarterbacks A.J. Brand from South Carolina and Kelden Ryan from Texas in the Class of 2025. Kyron Drones and Pop Watson will both be returning, along with Davi Belfort.

Falzone’s ability to toss the ball and create plays with his legs makes him a player who would fit right in with the Virginia Tech attack. Would he sign with the Hokies again? Stranger things may have happened, but as was already said, significant programs have been pursuing him ever since he reopened his recruiting. It’s evident that Pry and Bowen are still pushing because they believe they have a chance to obtain Falzone. You can’t say that Virginia Tech didn’t try, but we’ll have to wait and see how things work out in the end.
