
The University of Kentucky Wildcats will send four players to the NFL Draft Combine, including Eli Cox, Maxwell Hairston, Jamon Dumas-Johnson, and Deone Walker. This event, which allows scouts to get up close and personal with possible prospects, will take place from February 27 to March 2 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Meet The Fabulous Four:
Eli Cox (offensive lineman): A rock-solid presence on the offensive line, Cox has been a constant starter for the Wildcats, demonstrating consistency and leadership throughout his collegiateMaxwell Hairston (Defensive Back) is a key member of Kentucky’s defense, known for his agility and great football instincts. He has made major plays in vital circumstances.
Jamon Dumas-Johnson (Linebacker): After transferring from Georgia, Dumas-Johnson made an early impact for the Wildcats, leading the team in total tackles and displaying versatility on the field.
Deone Walker (defensive lineman) Walker, who stands tall and imposing, has proven to be a dangerous defensive force, consistently upsetting opposing offenses with his muscle and technique.
Combine Schedule Highlights:
Thursday, February 27: Defensive linemen and linebackers (Walker and Dumas-Johnson) will perform beginning at 3 p.m. ET.
Friday, February 28: Defensive Backs (Hairston) will take the stage at 3 p.m. ET.
Sunday, March 2: Drills for offensive linemen (Cox) will begin at 1 p.m. ET.

A Tradition of Excellence:
This is Kentucky’s fifth consecutive year with at least four players invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, demonstrating the program’s dedication to generating NFL-ready talent. Since head coach Mark Stoops took over in 2013, 47 Wildcats have received Combine invites, with 38 of them coming in 2019.
Looking ahead:
The NFL Draft is set for April 24-26 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. With a track record of generating numerous players who are picked, the Wildcats are primed to continue that trend for the seventh consecutive year.
