Buffalo latest News: Bills has successfully Signed a Four-Time Pro Bowl WR.

The Buffalo Bills are aiming to strengthen their wide receiver group heading into the 2025 season. Their most productive receiver in 2024 was Khalil Shakir, who recorded 76 catches for 821 yards and four touchdowns on 100 targets. However, the team is looking to add more elite talent to the roster. Jarrett Bailey of USA TODAY’s Touchdown Wire speculates that the Bills could reunite with former star wide receiver Stefon Diggs, bringing him back alongside quarterback Josh Allen.

Bailey notes that Diggs, who turns 32 this year, is running out of time to capture a Super Bowl title. Despite his age, Diggs remains a strong performer. Before suffering a season-ending ACL tear, he was on track for his fifth consecutive 100-catch season. During his short stint with the Houston Texans, he played in eight games, logging 47 receptions for 496 yards and three touchdowns on 64 targets.

Reuniting Diggs with Allen could rekindle the dynamic chemistry they once shared. From 2020 to 2023, the duo was one of the NFL’s most lethal combinations. During that span, Diggs made four straight Pro Bowl appearances, earned a First-Team All-Pro selection, and amassed 445 receptions for 5,372 yards and 37 touchdowns. Their partnership was a key component of the Bills’ offensive success during those years.

If the Bills are indeed interested in bringing Diggs back, the financial commitment might be reasonable. According to Spotrac, Diggs’ market value is projected at $13.7 million per year, which could be a manageable price for a player of his caliber. The potential reunion offers an opportunity to bolster the receiving corps and give Allen another proven playmaker as the team strives for a deeper playoff run in 2025.
