The Detroit Lions have re-signed offensive lineman Kayode Awosika, ensuring another valuable backup remains with the team. Meanwhile, Mahogany, drafted in the sixth round out of Boston College, is poised to take over a starting guard position in 2025, following the departure of veteran Kevin Zeitler to the Tennessee Titans in free agency. Another key player, Graham Glasgow, who started all 16 games at left guard last season, will also return for the upcoming season, solidifying the team’s line for next year.
The Lions’ strategy this offseason has largely centered on bolstering depth, retaining several core backups from their impressive 15-2 season. The only major addition to the starting lineup thus far has been cornerback D.J. Reed, acquired in free agency.
