St. John’s guard Jaiden Glover has announced his decision to transfer from the program after a limited freshman season, and Virginia Tech has shown interest in acquiring him. Glover, a native of Brooklyn, New York, played a minor role under head coach Rick Pitino in the 2023–24 season. He averaged just 2 points, 0.2 rebounds, and 0.3 assists over 6.4 minutes per game. Despite his limited minutes, Glover had a standout performance against Harvard, scoring a career-high 11 points in a 77–64 win for the Red Storm.
Coming out of high school, Glover was a highly regarded prospect, with offers from major programs like Maryland, Providence, and Villanova. His potential was recognized early, though he struggled to find consistent playing time in his first year at the college level.
