Measuring 6 feet tall and weighing 221 pounds, he impressed scouts by running the 40-yard dash in 4.46 seconds and completing 18 bench press reps of 225 pounds. These numbers, paired with his college production, make him a compelling prospect. Over his final two seasons at the University of North Carolina, Hampton rushed for 3,164 yards and scored 30 touchdowns in just 25 games. His blend of size, speed, and physicality has drawn comparisons to current and former NFL backs such as Nick Chubb, James Conner, and Zach Charbonnet.
Observers have noted Hampton’s passionate running style and his ability to break tackles and gain tough yards—traits that align well with Denver’s offensive needs. The 2025 NFL Draft is scheduled to take place in Wisconsin from April 24 to 26.
